Purchase Reminders To The Rescue

We all know it’s a pain to go to the store for air filters. Making a special trip for them. Forgetting our size. Then, actually finding our size. It’s just a headache. That’s why one of our favorite features of the Filtrete Smart Filter is the ability to purchase filters in the app. But, the reality is that we’re going to forget that in-app purchasing is available. That, or just going on auto-pilot and driving to the store out of habit for new filters will win over.

To that end, what if the push notifications we receive towards the end of the filter’s life included a can’t miss, one-click purchase option? Stephen brings this up in a recent activity:

“I love being told how my filter is doing (filter life left) – being notified when I should change it or prepare to change it. I wish I could easily order new filters right from those notifications, though.”

That would make the purchase process so much easier!

For those of us who like receiving push notifications, it’s a win-win. We’d save a trip to the store, know that a new filter will arrive without letting the old one linger, and that we’ve got the right-sized that can connect with the app – a Smart filter.
