Getting started could be quicker and easier, but there’s nothing that makes us throw our hands up, nothing out of the ordinary. That said, little touches make all the difference. So, we created a short gallery of some of issues we faced in getting started.
Corporate e-mail addresses can block the verification process, so perhaps we should be informed to use a personal email account.
It would be simpler to not have to switch into our email accounts for verification; a double password maybe?
We tend to skip over the first few intro pages; they feel like marketing filler. Perhaps these can be condensed or better conveyed that they’re a must-read.
Create Account vs. Log-in is confusing. Perhaps headline Create Account?
Pre-filled password bubbles make us assume we don’t need to fill-in a password; consider removing these.
The profile questions are spot-on, and even a few more would create greater feelings of trust and personalization (e.g., ask me the # of pets I own, how old my house is).
For some, it takes two tries for the app pairing to be successful.
