Filter Install: After A Few Beats To Think, It’s Pretty Easy
We open the package carefully. We get our heads around the various materials, like it’s a puzzle waiting to be put together. We clip the sensor on; some of us need a few tries to get it right. Others of us aren’t sure if it’s on correctly, but overall we’re feeling pretty good about things. The sensor sticks out a little wonky. Will it get sucked up into the HVAC? That would be funny and not so funny at the same time.
We then make the dreary walk to the HVAC, thinking how much we’ve neglected this chore over the years, how little we know about the particulars of this ritual. At the same time, we’re embarrassed about the mass of gray and soot that soon will be sure to indict us. Then, in a flash, it’s done! Out with the old, in the with the new.
