A Shaky Re-Pair
For some of us, it takes a few tries to re-pair the app and filter, and we’re not sure why. While it eventually worked, it was a little touch and go for a while. Here’s a few samples of our thoughts on the re-pairing process:
- It took three tries, but the filter and app eventually synced together. If it would have taken a fourth time, it would have been really discouraging.
- The process is easy, but for some reason the sensor from the filter is undetectable by my API even though I re-installed the app many times. Since the new filter is not detected, the app did not reset at all; all I can see on the app was that the old filter was still in there. I wish there was an off button on the filter sensor attached on the air filter.
- We have been unable to pair this sensor for a second time.
- Not at first, but once I tried again, it was clear that it returned to 100% life.
- Despite multiple attempts when I get to the pairing screen, it tells me something went wrong.
We’re hoping filter re-pairing will be smoother next time!
