Skepticism & Resistance Can Quickly Arise
Because we know little about filters and air quality, we want to know more about this innovation, particularly about how the filter and app work. After all, filters are about as low-tech as you can get, so it’s hard to think of them as technology-driven now.
Without knowing how all this works, why’s it’s important, and how we can impact our home’s air quality, we’re concerned that they’re just trying to get us to buy filters more than necessary. While we really like this idea, it needs to prove itself before we can really buy in.
“Are you going to tell me the filter will need to be replaced when it’s way too soon...to get me to buy more? Like…26% on my phone…12%....etc. Ugh, I have to go do another thing. Ignorance is bliss a little bit. ”
